63A 30 mA, high-immunization "F" type, 2-pole electrical differential switch for protection of people from insulation or bypass problems in installations or electrical elements. For use in domestic, tertiary and industrial sectors.

Shooting occurs when there are sine residual alternating currents as well as type A currents, as well as residual currents with multiple frequencies, as a result of nonlinear and distorted loads, such as those produced by frequency inverters (frequency converters). Type F differential switches are capable of detecting multiple frequencies up to 1kHz.

The detection, evaluation and shooting functions for these switches do not depend on voltage. The shot is not affected by low-value DC residual currents up to 10mA. The Type F differential switch has the delayed trigger feature to prevent unwanted firing. Another feature is high immunity against 8/20us current waveforms (up to 3 kA). This switch is installed like any differential switch. Complies with EN 61008 and EN 62423.

These differentials are electromagnetic operating, which allows not to lose the safety function in case of voltage variations. Only with the derivation in the active phase does the differential fire occur. Being electromechanical operating provides a wide operating voltage range (230/400 VAC) which implies a high degree of immunity to variations in the input voltage, and also, the safety function is not lost to the power failure in neutral.
