Transient overvoltage protection panel for photovoltaic power generating systems with 5 strings and 5 MPPT regulators used to convert solar radiation into electrical energy.
ECO-DC-INV panels, already wired and ready for installation, protect the line connecting the photovoltaic panels to the DC/AC inverter of the installation. They maintain the same number of inputs as the number of string outputs. Each of the strings is protected with 1000Vdc fuse holders and 15A fuse and Vdc surge protectors.
The inputs are made with MC4 connectors for a faster and safer connection. This system is designed for inverters with multi-MPP management that incorporate different string inputs. The ECO-DC-INV protectors have been developed to protect against discharges and overvoltages produced by lightning strikes on the DC side of these systems. The protection consists of three stages of varistors equipped with thermal disconnectors that indicate through a window the failure of the element. It has a remote output (indication contact)
