The INOX light series of bearing housings offers a significant reduction in size and weight compared to the same size series on the market. This design promotes space and material savings, making it widely applicable in machine design.
The AISI 440 C stainless steel ball bearing is grooved, its outer rings have a spherical surface that is free to oscillate in the support track. This oscillation allows self-alignment in the support housing and compensates for any misalignment and eliminates, as far as possible, unwanted stresses between the shaft and the support. The bearing is fixed to the shaft by means of two hexagonal allen screws offset by 120º. Easy assembly and disassembly.
The field of application of these supports with stainless steel bearings are industries, food, petrochemical, chemical, humid or saline environments, in cleaning and pressure washing equipment... with normal loads, weak to medium rotation speeds.
The bearing is sealed by a gasket made up of a protective plate and rubber seal. The bearing has a gasket on each side. This protection system prevents the escape of grease and any possible infiltration of contaminating agents, which is particularly suitable when there are very aggressive external agents, dust, liquids or when the machine works outdoors.
